Currenlty lives and works right in the city. Highlight of being a fan was attending game seven of the 2004 ALCS in the Bronx. Playing days are long over but still hit the diamond every Monday in the summer as a member of a beer league softball squad. |
 |
Cory Whitmer - Rockies |
| Cory is from Aurora, CO, and is a fan of all things Denver (Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche and Nuggets). He believes in being a discerning fan and being critical of teams vs. just following blindly. His commentary is a blend of analysis with humorous takes on current team events. |
 |
JJ Stoppard - Tigers |
| JJ Stoppard believes in the Church of Baseball, Ernie Harwell and the Detroit Tigers — a solid foundation, don’t you think? A graduate of Wayne State University, JJ grew up in the Midwest (mainly the metro Detroit area) and is a fan of all Detroit sports teams … yes, even the Lions. |
 |
Graham Houston - Reds |
| In the midst of the Reds’ first playoff run in 15 years, Graham left Cincinnati for Colorado — a safe, 1,000-mile vantage point from which to watch the Reds get no-hit by Roy Halladay. Ten months later, and still riding the hope of last year’s team, Graham has found the life of a transplanted Reds fan quite difficult. Games start at five now, not seven. Afternoon games start at the unheard of 10 am. But schedule adjustments are made, sleeping schedules altered. Despite the perpetual frustrations and constantly faltering confidence, the Reds will always be Graham’s team, no matter what time zone he’s in. |

 |
Mike Vigneux - Red Sox |
| After his dream of playing left field for the Boston Red Sox didn’t exactly pan out, Mike decided to put his writing and communication skills to good use. Instead of playing the carom off the Green Monster, Mike has spent the last 10+ years in public relations and marketing. Mike began his career in athletics working in sports information at Brown University and the University of Hartford. A resident of Worcester, Vigneux earned a B.A. in Communication & Culture from Clark University in 2001 and a Masters in Professional Communication in 2011. While an undergraduate at Clark, he was a member of the baseball team. Instead of playing before citizens of Red Sox Nation at Fenway Park, he now spends his summers playing “old man” softball. |
 |
Bryan Sheehan – Phillies |

Being a Baseball Hipster, his favorite players include Matt Stairs, Sal Fasano, and of course, Roy Halladay (because who doesn’t love Roy Halladay?) |

Not being able to pursue his baseball playing career due to a multitude of different injuries (and probably a lack of talent) Wyatt decided to do the next best thing: obsessively follow baseball and utilize his unique sense of humor to create interesting, yet informative content. Currently living in Colorado, Wyatt is a partial season ticket holder to the Colorado Rockies and is extremely hopeful to see the Giambino managing the Rockies in 2013. Although, he also believes that the Rockies mascot Dinger could have done a better job managing the club. |

While attending Whitewater, he served as the Sports Director and primary announcer for all UW-W athletics including their national champion football and baseball programs. After graduating as the voice of the Warhawks, Adam has moved on to announcing for a minor league hockey team, the Chicago Express. He has always loved baseball though, and still plays to this day. While you may not see the 6’2 lefty pitching on your TV any time soon, you may see his name at the top of some riveting Chicago Cubs news…and let’s be honest, some pretty ridiculous news too (we’re looking at YOU Zambrano). He does not believe in the “wait till next year” mantra, he lives it…and that’s dedication, holmes. |
 |

James Poellnitz - White Sox |
| James is a big White Sox fan but an even bigger baseball fan. He is born and raised in Chicago and would love nothing more than to actually cover the White Sox in the near future. John Treece - Tigers |
| My name is John Treece, and I live in Toledo, Ohio. I am studying communications at the University of Toledo, and I like to think that I live and breathe Detroit sports. From the Red Wings to the Lions (unfortunate sometimes) and the Tigers to the Pistons, I love them all. I spent time growing up playing baseball everyday throughout the summer until I started coaching Little League teams in high school. It is easily my favorite sport and the Detroit Tigers are my favorite team. |
 |
Matthew Hamilton – Cardinals |
| I’m 18 years old, currently living in Virginia and a Cardinals fan, thanks to my family (my mom is a St. Louis native.) I always liked baseball but didn’t get really passionate about it until August 2009 when I finally went to my first game at the new Busch Stadium (and my first major league game in four years). Since then, I have become a full-out baseball fanatic! I am currently in college studying Physical Education. |
 |

| Matt is currently studying journalism in downtown Toronto at Ryerson University. Consistent contributor to campus newspapers on everything sports. |
Michael Dault – Tigers |

 |
Rob Harris – Cubs |
| I was born in Cardinals country, but came over the Cubs at a very young age. Jack Brickhouse was the grandfather that I never had, and I would run home after school to catch the end of the Cubs game on Channel 9. I’ve lived in Chicago my entire adult life, and I’ll never leave until the Cubs win the World Series. After that, perhaps I’ll think about it. I love writing about baseball, and I hope you’ll enjoy my posts in this space. |
