Rick Wilber

Rick Wilber’s book about caregiving and growing up in a baseball family, “My Father’s Game: Life, Death, Baseball” (McFarland, 2008) was called a “perceptive memoir of his father, his family and himself … and also a book about the mythology of baseball,” by Philadelphia’s Broad Street Review. Celebrated baseball scholar and reviewer Tim Morris at the University of Texas said of Rick's recent novel, "Rum Point: A Baseball Mystery" (McFarland, 2009): "It's a very enjoyable novel. I discard books vigorously; I didn't put "Rum Point" down till I'd read the entire Epilogue and got every character safely to his or her destination."
