TTFB presents a new NAIA Baseball Rankings, one centered on a strength index of how a team has competed thus far to a point in a season. In a nutshell, a higher ranking team has fared well against current strong opponents while lower ranked (and some high ranked) teams lose points for “bad” losses.
You’ll notice a tie isn’t in any records below. We hate ties and we award no points for such a result. It’s basically a game that shouldn’t have ever been played and according to our records, it never was played. This isn’t soccer.

Tennessee Wesleyan maintains their lead, while challenger Southeastern drops three straight against now #7 St. Thomas to fall to #4.
NAIA Baseball Rankings: Trending Up
- St. Thomas – St. Thomas is up eight spots as they swept the series against then #3 Southeastern. Southeastern has dropped one to #4 while St. Thomas slides into #7.
- Westmont – Westmont is up 10 spots to #11 after a four game sweep of #18 The Master’s. The Master’s drops five spots.
- Science & Arts – up 19 spots to enter the top 20 after winning their last 11 games, including a sweep over #84 Wayland Baptist.
NAIA Baseball Rankings: Trending Down
- Missouri Baptist – Down 13 spots to #37 after going 2-2 against #135 Williams Baptist and #94 Mount Mercy.
- Middle Georgia drops four spots after losing two of three against #46 Mobile. Middle Georgia now ranks #16.
- Jarvis Christian drops seven spots to #25.
