2020 MLB Mock Draft: Cole Henry, RHP
Currently playing for LSU, Henry has a projectable 6-foot-4, 205 pound frame and massive strength in his lower half, translating into an above average fastball velocity.
Currently, his fastball sits at 91-to-93 MPH. However, he often leaves it high in the strike zone which regularly means big contact. His curveball has shown signs of big shape, with an 11-to-5 break early in the start. His changeup comes in around 80-to-83 MPH but has shown signs of having difficulty locating it.
With a big arm, projectable body, and a nice fastball, Henry is likely to go the first day and has a ceiling that permits him to become a back-end starter.
