Danny Jansen, one of the to prospects in the Blue Jays’ system, had a heck of a night on Monday for Triple-A Buffalo. Jansen went 4-for-4 with a solo home run, with a pair of doubles and a walk. Not too shabby.
The early season success only builds on an outstanding 2017 season in the minors, where the catcher slashed a combined .323/.400/.484 with 10 homers. Don’t get too excited yet, though, Jay fans … Jansen still has some time needed in the minors but do not be surprised if he were to be called up sooner rather than later.
In the mean time, watch his monster of a home run below.
