Pirates boosted their bullpen last night with by trading Taylor Hearn and a player to be named later to the Rangers in exchange for Keone Kela.
Keone Kela will slot in behind their current closer and is controllable for another year.
Kela was a top trade target that is off the board. Relief pitchers have been a premium this summer as starting pitching goes less deep in a game on average.
