Reports to: Senior Editor and President

Description: Through The Fence Sports Corp. is looking to hire interns with a strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including navigating and posting to various social media websites. The position requires strong critical thinking skills and excellent writing skills to captivate readers that visit Through The Fence Baseball.

Responsibilities:

  • To research and write baseball articles daily. We typically require at least three articles a week.

  • Quick and daily articles of The Single.

  • Work with management to develop fresh ideas for the site.

  • Assist the Senior Editor in any duties, projects, etc., as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ideal for candidate studying studying Public Relations, Journalism, English, Writing, or Marketing

  • An interest in blogging, researching and writing

  • Should be Internet savvy

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Familiarity with blogging

  • Experience with the WordPress blogging platform a plus but not a requirement
