Texas Rangers fans are looking forward to seeing more of Jurickson Profar. (Kim Klement/US Presswire)

The Texas Rangers have some holes to fill, but with spring training just a few weeks away, we preview the starting rotation with Yu Darvish, Matt Harrison, Derek Holland, Alexi Ogando and the internal candidates to fill the number-five slot.

We also debate the World Baseball Classic and whether or not the best players Major League Baseball has to offer should take this more seriously or if the classic should be canceled altogether.

Also, we answer a few listener questions about the bullpen and Jurickson Profar, and we talk about Mitch Moreland‘s ability to play an everyday role, our thoughts on Mike Napoli‘s deal with the Boston Red Sox and Ian Kinsler‘s opinion of staying right where he is.

All that and more on this addition of Scooping the Texas Rangers!
