With Colby Lewis and Matt Harrison currently on the shelf, and Alexi Ogando heading in just about the same direction, a debate has begun on what decision the Texas Rangers should make about their fifth starter for the remainder of the season.
Some want to acquire veteran starters Dan Haren or Erik Bedard while others argue they don’t want to give away anything for guys who will only make a handful of starts. However, how important will those starts be down the stretch and are the Rangers really willing to give those important starts to Josh Lindblom, Ross Wolf, Nick Tepesch or the recently acquired Travis Blackley?
