Description:

Through The Fence Sports Corp. is looking to hire an social media and operations intern with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including navigating and posting to various social media websites. This position requires strong critical-thinking skills to work with a variety of departments and projects. You will work with a vibrant and passionate team of writers and editors who are excited to work with the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement, monitor and report on various social media marketing strategies to improve traffic and generate leads on company websites

  • Keep track of and document all social media marketing activities

  • Work with management to build relationships with other websites and online communities

  • Monitor and post on blogs, forums and social networks

  • Website and social media optimization

  • Keyword analysis

  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, English, or a similar field

  • Understanding of various social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, etc.

  • Good organization and time-management skills

  • Self-starter with an ability to multitask

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
