There are always different arguments to be made where Derek Holland is concerned, but he seems to have found some consistency this season. Well, at least until his last six starts; though that seems to be no fault of his own.

Coming into Monday afternoon’s start against Oakland, Holland had five no-decisions in his last six starts, but the team has still been winning games when the left-hander takes the mound.

We debate that issue, and we touch a little on Yu Darvish, as well as the Rangers’ decision to bring Lance Berkman out of retirement and why none of us want him to play any part in what happens the remainder of the season. While his bat might still be there, somewhat, we aren’t sure his knees want anything to do with running.

All that and more on this addition of Scooping the Texas Rangers.
